As a Christ follower, we are called to make holiness perfected. What does this mean? It means to enter into the new covenant that Jesus offers. We need to superimpose, through the power of Holy Spirit, holiness on our life, behavior, teaching, everything about us. This requires that when God tells us something, we need to respect his perspective above any other and have obedience.
